Driver's Education Rule Change for 2014
Any car with internal engine, electonic modifications, suspension modifications (shocks, springs, control arms) or tires with a UTQG rating of 100 or less (unless OEM) must have harnesses with appropriate seating. Harnesses may be attached to either a harness bar or roll cage.
A Partial list of tires with UTQG rating of 100 or less:
- Goodrich G Force R1 and R1S
- Hankook Ventus Z214
- Hoosier R6, A6, and wets
- Kumo Ecsta V700, V710, W710, and Victor Racer V700
- Michelin Sport Cup, Sport Cup ZP, Sport Cup R1S (unless OEM)
- Pirelli P Zero Corsa
- Toyo R888 and RA1
- Yokohama Advan A048
